ACAP was born from a simple belief: our pets deserve the same level of science-backed nutrition and innovation as the livestock industry.

Our story starts with Kevin Van Beek, owner of ACAP and co-owner of Advanced Ag Products (AAP), alongside his wife, Tina. Back in 2006, in Hudson, South Dakota, Kevin recognized a problem in livestock nutrition — essential oil-based products weren’t delivering the results producers needed. He believed the issue wasn’t the ingredients themselves, but where they were being absorbed in the animal’s system.

That belief led to the development of By-O-reg+, a powerful blend of all-natural ingredients and essential oils protected by proprietary CF20 coating technology. This innovation allows the active ingredients to reach the lower GI tract, where they can deliver full-body benefits. After seeing remarkable results in his own animals, Kevin knew this breakthrough could make a lasting impact.

Advanced Ag Products has since grown into a trusted name in animal nutrition, helping livestock producers across the industry. But for Kevin and the team, the mission didn’t stop there.

They saw an opportunity to bring that same level of innovation to pets.

And ACAP was born.
